A testimony of redemption, second chances, and the power of God to make something new out of what once seemed lost.

The My Old Life Died Here Hoodie is one of our most personal designs, inspired by the testimony of Barry, co-owner of Ashes to Ashes Apparel.

After years of struggling with addiction and darkness, Barry reached a breaking point one April several years ago. In a cemetery, surrounded by the weight of his past, he turned to God. It began to snow, and in that moment, something changed. The life he had been living was no longer the life he wanted to carry forward.

Over the years, eagles have become a personal reminder of God's presence in Barry's life, making them an intentional part of this design.

The back artwork brings his testimony to life through a snow-covered cemetery, headstones, an eagle, and the words “My old life died here. Christ made me new.” The front features our signature Ashes to Ashes artwork with a cross, roses, and an eagle.

Today, Barry's story is one of recovery, growth, and renewed faith. Not because the road has been easy, but because God met him in one of his darkest moments, and his story didn't end there.
